The Ultimate Compact First Aid Trauma Kit (same contents as our First Aid Kit Ultimate Compact GRAB N GO™) our solution for a personal carry trauma and first aid kit, also known as an individual first aid kit (IFAK), with some great trauma supplies added. This lightweight first aid kit can deal with traumatic injuries and more, including bleeding wounds, sprains, blisters, burns, and offers options for wound closure, such as steri strips.

This first aid kit is great for hiking, camping, travel, car safety (personal and truckers) and home emergencies.

The included first aid instruction booklet and printed "stop the bleeding" instruction sheet (with color images) makes this kit easy to use for everyone.

The Ultimate Compact First Aid Trauma Kit comes complete with a versatile SWAT tourniquet, stainless steel bandage scissors, Israeli compression bandage, Celox blood-clotting granules, a large Ace wrap, gauze rolls and pads, burn gel, and much more.

SWAT tourniquets are vital to this kit because they can be used on infants, children, older folks and anyone with very thin arms or legs. It has the instructions printed on the actual tourniquet for simple and easy to follow directions. Scientific and military research studies have proven this tourniquet will stop severe arterial bleeding in extremities.

Packed in a marine style EMT pouch with tough military-grade construction, universal and molle attachment system, quick release buckle and a divided main compartment. This packed kit contains over 60 items.

Professionally designed by Dr. Joe Alton, a medical doctor with over 35 years’ experience and Amy Alton, an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, with over 30 years’ experience in the medical field. We have extensively researched and developed this kit to help keep you and your family safe and healthy.

Almost every item is packed in waterproof individual bags to protect your contents from leakage, rain, or accidental immersion.

This is the most comprehensive COMPACT FIRST AID and TRAUMA kit on the market for its size, weight and price! Featured as one of the top medical kits by survival experts in New York Magazine (see links below), we encourage you to compare our kit to any other of its size and weight.

Important Notice: We do not use knock-off products. All of our name-brand products in this kit are original, new, and purchased directly from the manufacturer or first line authorized distributors. The Israeli bandage package is tightly vacuum packed, unlike “fake” products.

No other company on the market will provide this level of attention to each and every detail like Doom and Bloom Medical does. We care about our customers like you are our family.

This kit is available in Red, Black OD Green and Coyote.

    Great quality product

Posted by Ben on 26th Sep 2022

I’m no medical expert by no means but the products I received looked very professional. My wife on the other hand is a nurse and she did say all of the products looked like what she would get at the doctors office she works for. Furthermore the customer support that the Alton’s has is first class and you can tell that they genuinely care about there customers and even gave me a phone call to follow up! Can’t say enough good about them. Will definitely purchase more kits from them. Bought one for our side by side, my pickup and my work vehicle. Thanks a million Nurse Amy.

    Old RN’s review

Posted by Unknown on 23rd Oct 2018

Love their ifak has so much useful products all in a small compact pack. Had to store it in a ziplock bag because the bag is so full. Cheap compared to other ifak’s offered on line were they have 5 to 10 items, this has numerous items. As a retired RN i spent a great amount of time searching and compareing different companies. Then i remembered how i met Dr Bones in 2015 at a preparedness fair, and wow just like that they offered exactily what i wanted..I live in the NW and have concerns about EQ. But a fellow preper said we should all have one in our cars. It has the Kat tourniquet in it which cost over 25 dollars on its own. It would even fit in a backpack or on a bike..check out the list of items..gf

A Top Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK)

Posted by Sam Stone on 25th May 2018

I like that the gloves are on top where you need them. They are the first things anyone using first aid should apply. Also on top is your light source, a small flashlight. Inside is a glow stick that will come in handy. My experience is a lot of things happen in the dark. Top grade components. I was surprised at the quality of the scissors. Usually a kit comes with some that won't cut tape let alone anything substantial. My concern is I like a kit that you can roll out or open multiple pockets so items are more easily accessible. However, I do like the pack it comes in. Very substantial and water resistant.

Many Useful Items Not Found in Average First Aid Kits

Posted by Unknown on 20th May 2018

We hope we never have to use this well-equipped kit. Our only problem is the tiny container ...as it's difficult to replace items taken out. it's very compact.

    Invaluable Kit

Posted by Unknown on 18th May 2018

Sturdy, rugged packaging. Great quality products. You can't assemble this yourself with the same quality for less than Joe & Amy offer this. I keep one of these in both my wife's car and mine. It's truly a stand-alone kit for an emergency. Only thing we added was a CAT tourniquet to supplement the SWAT tourniquet, just in case. You never know when you'll run upon a car accident with more than one bleeding emergency. Can't say enough about these great products except get one and get prepared! I bought these after seeing the quality of the Medium Trauma kit. I'm a fan and a loyal customer now. Last thing on the list is a Dental Kit and we're set for ANY disaster, whether long-term or short, and equipped to help those we care about around us in case of any accident. Cheap insurance to keep you and yours taken care of when seconds matter and the ambulance is minutes or more away...

    Outstanding Product!

Posted by Nick on 24th Jan 2018

I ordered the compact individual first aid kit (IFAK). The kit was as advertised- packet to the gills with fresh, name brand, quality components. Very well thought out by medical professionals. The pouch itself is sturdy and MOLLE compatible. Not only does the pouch have a coating on the inside that repels water, but many of the individual items are also in ziplock bags adding more protection from water - great if you take your kit camping, kayaking, or canoeing. I have bought many first aid kits ranging in price from $12 - $35. This kit was around $75. However, every item is top notch and carefully packed - no expired items or made in China junk. You can buy it with confidence, put it in your go bag, and know you’ll have what you need when you need it. The quality and peace of mind are worth the few extra bucks. The cherry on top is that Doom and Bloom accept flexible spending account cards (FSA). I bought my kit this way and so I paid nothing out of pocket! Customer service is outstanding. I e-mailed them a question and received a reply in under an hour from Nurse Amy - one of the company founders. They really do care about you and your family! Doom and Bloom have excellent first aid kits specifically tailored for survival situations - knowing you may not have immediate access to professional medical care. They receive my highest recommendation!

    I'm a One-Woman Disaster Preparedness Kit

Posted by Paula on 29th Jul 2013

With this med kit, I'm a one-woman disaster preparedness kit. It's just the right size for personal carry. I usually keep it in my glove box so I can be my own first responder (or for someone else!), but I also take it on hikes and other trips. It's a small kit, but it has a good supply of bandages, gauze, tools, and other supplies. I'm sure this kit (and my expertise with it) will save my life some day.
