I've seen these products used at a self-reliance expo and the contents seem to be what's needed for this type of work.

    Great to learn and practice.

Posted by JENNIFER GRAHAM on 15th Aug 2018

I purchased this kit as a way to learn and practice these skills with out having to use the ones in my Stomp Supreme bag. This kit along with all of their DVDs is an invaluable resource to me. Amy has been amazing as well taking time to answer any questions I have had in regards to their products. I highly recommend Doom and Bloom for any medical preparedness needs you may have their products and willingness to help far exceeds any other company out there.

    Hope it works!

Posted by BRIAN BEAULAC on 3rd Oct 2017

I bought this item in preparation for a potential disaster or emergency. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. As for how well it works, I won't know that until I use it during an emergency. If I remember after the emergency, I'll come back and leave a review of how it worked.

    Wound care/sutures/staples DVD & suture/staple kit

Posted by KC on 31st Mar 2017

The DVD was broken in to 3 parts, the same as in school, the first part was theory and Doctor Bones explained the fairly in-depth mechanics in simple terms, using easy to understand graphics while injecting subtle humor throughout the presentation. This part is chock full of information from history to alternatives & the many different kinds of materials used for suturing plus! When I finished the video I felt ready to do a little sewing & stapling! The 2nd & 3rd parts were the practical’s showing procedure for suturing & stapling a wound. The suture & staple kits had everything short of the anesthetic & syringe to take care of a laceration. The DVD alone was worth the price and the suture/staple kits made this purchase an excellent value!

    Suturing Package

Posted by Sparky on 30th Aug 2016

Haven't played with the kits to keep sterile. Will get another set when budget allows for practice. Worked with suture kits in my past life, but years ago. DVD was a very nice intro and/or refresher. Great basic layman instructions/demos. Personally, if I'm forced to suture someone up (last resort), they're going to have a scar to remember the event. Steri-strips/butterfly/duct tape or leave open (if dirty) will be my first inclinations.
