Nasal Speculums are a two-bladed instrument which is inserted into the nostrils. This instrument allows professionals to examine the inside of the nose.
This nasal speculum is 24mm deep and 5.5 inches long.
A nasal speculum widens the opening of the nose to help diagnose disease or perform procedures such as:
- observing the inside of the nose during examination
- removing foreign objects from the nose
- applying packing material into the nasal passage
