QuikClot Combat Gauze is a soft, sterile, gauze, impregnated with kaolin. This generation of Combat Gauze is a new product and does not cause any burning sensation when applied. Powder or granule packets are no longer manufactured and are considered “old school” now. The US Military provided significant product feedback and QuikClot Combat Gauze is now even better.
The effectiveness of QuikClot Combat Gauze is proven in both laboratory research and in battle-zone conditions. It applies easily and accelerates the clotting cascade to quickly form a clot and prevent rebleed – saving lives.
It is folded into a Z-Fold shape which makes is easier for apply and stops the gauze from unraveling and possibly becoming contaminated. The Z-Fold and vacuum pack creates a very lightweight and compact size for you to carry with other medical supplies.
QuikClot Combat gauze is indicated for the temporary external control of traumatic bleeding. It is well known in the US Military.

Using a proprietary process, QuikClot Combat Gauze is impregnated with kaolin,which is a naturally occurring inorganic mineral that accelerates the body’s natural clotting process. When applied with pressure, QuikClot Combat Gauze accelerates the clotting cascade andcontrols bleeding in minutes.
